Letter from the President

A letter from the Sigma Beta President,

The day I became a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi, was the day my life changed for the best. I joined a sorority in hope of finding my place at Saint Joseph’s University, but little did I know that I would find much more. I found a home away from home and over 100 amazing sisters. I have gained lifelong friends that inspire me to be the best version of myself. I have learned the true meaning of sisterhood. I found a place where I could be my most authentic self.

As the Chapter President I have learned so much. I have learned how to grow from adversities and how to step out of my comfort zone. Without the over 100 women backing me up I would never have gotten to where I am. This position has taught me how to be a leader but also how to lean on others.

The best advice I can give you is that no matter what sorority you end up in take advantage of every opportunity that is given to you. Challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone, make mistakes, grow from those mistakes, and always lean on your sisters whenever you need. This experience is an extraordinary one, enjoy every second of it.
